At Big Life University, we are deeply committed to the quality of our programs, the integrity of our coaching, and the satisfaction of every student who places their trust in us. We understand that investing in personal development is a significant and often personal decision, and we do not take that lightly.
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for purchases made through our website at www.biglifeuniversity.com. This Policy applies to all paid programs, courses, digital products, and coaching packages offered by Big Life University.
By completing a purchase with Big Life University, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy. This Policy forms part of our complete legal framework, which includes our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer.
We encourage all prospective students to carefully review our program descriptions, sales pages, free resources, and Frequently Asked Questions before making a purchase decision. If you have any questions about what is included in a program, please contact us before enrolling.
2. DIGITAL PRODUCT & SERVICE NATURE
All programs, courses, assessments, coaching packages, digital downloads, and other offerings sold by Big Life University are delivered in digital format. Because of the immediate and often irreversible nature of digital product delivery — including the instant provision of access to course platforms, downloadable materials, assessment results, and digital resources — we adopt a limited refund framework that reflects the nature of digital commerce.
By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase confirmation and cannot be ‘returned’ in the traditional sense once accessed.
- The delivery of digital access constitutes the fulfillment of our primary obligation as a service provider.
- Refund requests based solely on a change of mind after access has been granted will generally not be honored, except as specified herein.
- The value of our programs lies substantially in the intellectual property, coaching expertise, and proprietary methodologies delivered through them — which are made available to you at the moment of enrollment.
This policy is consistent with widely accepted digital commerce standards and consumer protection laws applicable to digital services and is designed to protect both the integrity of our programs and the rights of students who engage with our content in good faith.
3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Standard Refund Window
Big Life University offers a seven (7) calendar day satisfaction period from the date of purchase for most programs. Within this window, you may request a refund if you are genuinely dissatisfied and have made a good-faith effort to engage with the program materials. To be eligible for a refund within the standard window, you must:
- Submit your refund request in writing to our support team within seven (7) calendar days of your purchase date.
- Provide your full name, registered email address, and order/transaction reference number.
- Briefly describe why the program has not met your expectations or needs.
Refund requests submitted after the seven (7) day window has lapsed will not be honored under the standard refund eligibility terms, except where a Results-Based Guarantee applies (see Section 4) or where required by applicable consumer protection law.
3.2 Technical Access Issues
If you experience technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing the program content within the first seven (7) days of enrollment, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a full refund. Please contact our technical support team promptly so that we have the opportunity to resolve the issue before a refund request is processed.
3.3 Program Cancellation by Big Life University
In the rare event that Big Life University cancels a program after payment has been received and before the program has begun, you will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, or the option to transfer your enrollment to an equivalent future program at no additional cost.
4. RESULTS-BASED GUARANTEE TERMS
Specific programs offered by Big Life University may carry an extended results-based satisfaction guarantee. Where such a guarantee is explicitly advertised on the program sales page or enrollment materials, the following terms apply:
4.1 Eligibility Requirements for Extended Guarantee
To qualify for a refund under any results-based guarantee, you must demonstrate all of the following:
- Completion of the entire program, including all required modules, lessons, exercises, and assignments, as evidenced by your completion record in the program platform.
- Active and documented participation in any live coaching calls, group sessions, or mandatory interactive components included in the program.
- Submission of all required worksheets, action plans, or implementation documentation as specified in the program curriculum.
- A written refund request submitted within the stated guarantee period (as specified on the sales page) that includes documentation of the work completed and a good-faith explanation of why the program did not meet your needs despite full engagement.
4.2 Guarantee Scope
A results-based guarantee is a commitment that, if you genuinely do the work and still don’t find value, we want to make it right. It is not an open-ended money-back offer for participants who do not fully engage with the program. The guarantee is designed to protect committed students, not to subsidize non-participation.
We reserve the right to request evidence of completion and engagement before processing any guarantee-based refund. Falsification of completion records or submission of fraudulent documentation will result in immediate disqualification from refund consideration and may result in termination of access without refund.
Each program’s guarantee period and specific eligibility requirements are stated on the individual program sales or enrollment page. Please review these terms carefully before purchasing. Where no extended guarantee is specified, only the standard 7-day refund window applies.
5. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy, refunds will NOT be granted in the following circumstances:
- Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund window (standard 7-day or extended guarantee period) has expired.
- Requests based solely on a change of mind, change of circumstances, or failure to use or access the program after purchase.
- Situations where you accessed a substantial portion of the program content (e.g., more than 25% of the curriculum), downloaded materials, or received coaching sessions, after which a refund is requested under the standard 7-day window.
- Enrollment in programs that are explicitly marked as ‘non-refundable’ at the time of purchase, including but not limited to live event tickets, intensive cohort programs, one-on-one coaching packages, and limited-enrollment masterclasses.
- Requests from participants who have violated our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or Code of Conduct, including abusive behavior toward staff or coaches.
- Situations where a results-based guarantee is claimed but the participant cannot demonstrate genuine completion and engagement with the program.
- Partial refunds for individual modules, sessions, or components of a program purchased as an integrated package.
- Purchases made under promotional pricing, flash sales, scholarship programs, or payment plans where the promotional terms explicitly exclude refunds.
We encourage you to review program details and contact us with any questions before purchasing to ensure the program is the right fit for you.
6. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES
We take chargebacks and payment disputes very seriously. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, credit card company, or payment processor without first contacting us and allowing us the opportunity to resolve your concern, we reserve the right to:
- Contest the chargeback with full documentation of your enrollment, program access, and any communications between us.
- Immediately and permanently terminate your access to all Big Life University programs, content, communities, and resources.
- Pursue recovery of any chargeback fees, administrative costs, or losses incurred as a result of the dispute through appropriate legal channels.
- Report fraudulent chargebacks to relevant consumer protection authorities or payment fraud databases where applicable.
We strongly encourage all participants to contact our support team FIRST if you are experiencing any issue with your program or are considering a refund. We are committed to resolving legitimate concerns fairly and promptly, and initiating a chargeback before giving us the opportunity to help is rarely the fastest or most favorable resolution path.
Engaging in a chargeback for a program from which you have received access, digital content, or coaching services without good-faith engagement of our refund process may constitute financial fraud in certain jurisdictions.
7. REFUND PROCESSING
7.1 How to Submit a Refund Request
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Verbal requests or requests submitted through social media channels will not be considered. To submit a refund request, email our support team with the following information:
- Your full legal name.
- The email address used at the time of purchase.
- Your transaction or order reference number.
- The name of the program for which you are requesting a refund.
- The date of your purchase.
- A clear explanation of your reason for requesting a refund.
- Any supporting documentation required under the applicable guarantee terms.
7.2 Review & Processing Timeline
Upon receipt of your refund request, we will acknowledge it within two (2) business days and complete our review within seven (7) to ten (10) business days. We may contact you for additional information during the review process.
If your refund is approved, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method. Please note that while we process approved refunds promptly, the time for the refund to appear on your bank or card statement may vary depending on your financial institution — typically between five (5) and ten (10) business days.
7.3 Partial Refunds
In circumstances where a full refund is not appropriate but a partial refund may be warranted — for example, in cases of genuine extenuating circumstances — we reserve the sole discretion to offer a partial refund or program credit as a goodwill gesture. Such offers are made on a case-by-case basis and do not create precedent or entitlement for future requests.
8. ABUSE PREVENTION
Big Life University monitors refund request patterns to detect and prevent abuse of our refund and guarantee policies. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests and/or deny future enrollment if we identify patterns of behavior consistent with policy abuse, including but not limited to:
- Multiple refund requests across different programs, suggesting a pattern of purchasing and requesting refunds without genuine engagement.
- Evidence that program content, materials, or proprietary methodologies were downloaded, copied, or shared prior to or following a refund request.
- Misrepresentation or falsification of completion records or engagement documentation to qualify for a results-based guarantee.
- Coordinated chargeback activity or collusion with others to fraudulently obtain refunds.
Participants found to have abused our refund policy may be permanently banned from enrolling in any current or future Big Life University program and may be subject to legal action for intellectual property theft or fraud.
We invest significant time, expertise, love, and resources into developing our programs. We ask that all participants engage with our content and our policies in the same spirit of integrity and good faith with which they are offered.
