TERMS OF SERVICE

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (‘Terms’, ‘Agreement’) CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING ANY SERVICE, PROGRAM, ASSESSMENT, COURSE, OR CONTENT OFFERED BY BIG LIFE UNIVERSITY (‘Company’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’).

By accessing our website, completing any assessment or quiz, enrolling in any program, or making any purchase, you (‘User’, ‘You’, ‘Your’, ‘Student’, ‘Participant’) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms in their entirety, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Refund Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of our website and services. Your continued use of Big Life University following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms constitute a legally binding contract between you and Big Life University. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

 

2. SCOPE & NATURE OF SERVICES

2.1 What We Offer

Big Life University is an online educational and personal development platform offering life coaching programs, spiritual coaching programs, assessments, digital content, workshops, and related resources (collectively ‘Services’). Our primary offerings include:

  • The Big Life Assessment Funnel — a self-discovery assessment designed to help individuals identify personal growth opportunities, which may lead to enrollment in our paid Life Coaching Program.
  • The Spiritual Test Funnel — a spiritual self-evaluation tool designed to explore spiritual maturity and alignment, which may lead to enrollment in our paid Spiritual Coaching Program.
  • Additional digital content, resources, courses, workshops, live sessions, and community programs as made available from time to time.

2.2 Nature of Coaching Services

Our Services are educational and personal development in nature. Life coaching and spiritual coaching are non-regulated service professions designed to support personal growth, goal-setting, and forward momentum. Our Services are NOT a substitute for and do not constitute licensed therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, medical advice, psychiatric services, legal advice, financial planning, or any other form of regulated professional services.

Our coaches, facilitators, and program leaders are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, attorneys, financial advisors, or medical professionals unless explicitly stated in individual biographies. Engagement with our Services does not create a client-professional relationship governed by professional regulatory bodies.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately. Big Life University is not equipped to handle clinical or crisis situations.

 

3. ELIGIBILITY

To access and use our Services, you must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals under 18 may only participate with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who also accepts these Terms on their behalf.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • You must not be prohibited from accessing or using our Services under any applicable law or regulation.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain the accuracy of such information.
  • You must not have been previously suspended or removed from our Services for violation of these Terms.

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these criteria.

 

4. ASSESSMENTS & SCORING DISCLAIMER

The Big Life Assessment and the Spiritual Test (and any other assessments, quizzes, or evaluative tools provided by Big Life University) are proprietary self-reflection instruments developed for personal development purposes only. By completing any assessment, you acknowledge and agree to all of the following:

  • Assessments are not clinically validated, psychometrically standardized, or scientifically peer-reviewed instruments and should not be interpreted as such.
  • Results, scores, categories, and profiles generated are for educational and reflective purposes only and do not constitute a psychological diagnosis, personality classification, spiritual certification, or professional evaluation of any kind.
  • Assessment results are not guarantees of outcomes, readiness, spiritual maturity, or suitability for any program, vocation, or life decision.
  • You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon your assessment results.
  • No assessment result should be used as the sole basis for any major life, financial, relational, medical, or spiritual decision.

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of assessment results for any individual purpose. Results are reflective snapshots based on your self-reported responses and should be considered alongside input from qualified professionals as appropriate.

 

5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a user of Big Life University, you agree to accept full responsibility for your use of our Services, including all consequences that arise from your participation. You specifically agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information at all times, including during registration, assessments, and program participation.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Engage respectfully with all coaches, staff, and fellow participants in any community, group, or live program setting.
  • Take personal responsibility for all decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from your participation in our programs or application of our content.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in connection with your use of our Services.
  • Not share, redistribute, resell, or otherwise make available any program content, materials, or proprietary resources to third parties without our express written permission.
  • Promptly report any technical issues, unauthorized activity, or policy violations to our support team.

You understand that personal development is an active process requiring your sincere engagement, effort, and follow-through. Results are dependent on your individual commitment and action, and we cannot be held responsible for outcomes where you have not engaged fully with the program.

 

6. PAYMENTS, PROGRAMS & ACCESS

6.1 Pricing & Billing

All prices for our programs are stated in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time; however, changes will not affect existing enrollments or purchases already completed.

6.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar platforms). We do not store your payment card information on our servers. By submitting payment, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method.

6.3 Access & Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your enrolled program materials as described at the time of purchase. Access timelines, duration, and content delivery formats vary by program. We reserve the right to modify program content, format, or delivery method with reasonable notice.

6.4 Enrollment Limitations

Enrollment in any program is personal and non-transferable. You may not share, gift, or transfer your enrollment or access credentials to any other individual. Doing so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

6.5 Taxes

You are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, or levies arising from your purchase in your jurisdiction. Big Life University is not responsible for calculating, collecting, or remitting taxes on your behalf unless required by applicable law.

 

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content, materials, methodologies, systems, frameworks, assessments, written content, audio, video, graphics, course curriculum, branding, and other resources made available through Big Life University — including but not limited to the Big Life Assessment, the Spiritual Test, and all coaching programs — are the exclusive intellectual property of Big Life University and its licensors, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and intellectual property laws worldwide.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the program materials solely for your personal, non-commercial development purposes.

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, upload, post, display, transmit, or create derivative works from any of our content without our express written consent.
  • Use our brand, logo, name, or any program name or methodology in any manner that implies endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
  • Sell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercialize any portion of our content or methodologies.
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from our materials.

Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property will constitute a material breach of these Terms and may result in legal action. We actively monitor and protect our intellectual property rights.

 

8. ACCEPTABLE USE & PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree to use Big Life University’s Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating any coach, staff member, or fellow participant in any format, including online communities, live calls, or direct messaging.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, including Big Life University staff or coaches.
  • Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, accounts, or data.
  • Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our Services or the experience of other users.
  • Using our platform or content to promote competing services, unauthorized commercial solicitation, or multi-level marketing schemes.
  • Posting or sharing defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
  • Reproducing, screen-recording, or sharing any live session, coaching call, or program content without prior written consent.

Violation of these provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, forfeiture of fees paid, and may subject you to civil and/or criminal liability.

 

9. TESTIMONIALS & RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Testimonials, case studies, success stories, and examples shared on our website or in our marketing materials represent the experiences of specific individuals and are not intended to guarantee that current or prospective students will achieve the same or similar results.

Individual results vary significantly based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: individual effort, commitment, background, circumstances, starting point, mindset, life stage, support systems, and application of program content. Any income, transformation, or outcome figures shared are illustrative of possibilities and not representations of average or expected outcomes.

We do not endorse or verify third-party testimonials for their accuracy and are not responsible for claims made by third parties about our programs.

 

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE

Our website and programs may contain links to third-party websites, tools, resources, and services. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Big Life University does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party website.

Some links on our website or in our communications may be affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission or compensation if you click through and make a purchase. This comes at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe may be of value to our community, but we encourage you to conduct your own due diligence before making any third-party purchase.

Affiliate relationships do not influence the integrity of our program content or coaching recommendations.

 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BIG LIFE UNIVERSITY, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, COACHES, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
  • Personal injury or emotional distress resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.
  • Decisions made or actions taken in reliance on our program content, coaching, or assessment results.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
  • Any other matter relating to our Services.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

 

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Big Life University, its founders, officers, directors, employees, coaches, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of or access to our Services.
  • Your violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights.
  • Any misrepresentation made by you in connection with your use of our Services.
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through our platform.

We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims. This obligation shall survive the termination of these Terms and your use of our Services.

 

13. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

Big Life University reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or permanently terminate your access to our Services at any time and for any reason, including without limitation if you:

  • Violate any provision of these Terms.
  • Engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole judgment, to be harmful, abusive, or disruptive to our community, staff, or Services.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls.
  • Fail to make required payments.

Upon termination, your right to access our Services and any materials associated with your enrollment will immediately cease. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to retain your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us in writing. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 7, 11, 12, and 14.

 

14. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of our Services, or any transaction with Big Life University shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it may be submitted to binding arbitration in Georgetown, Guyana, under the rules of an agreed arbitration body, or to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Guyana. Both parties expressly waive the right to a jury trial and any class action proceedings.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights or confidential information.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency or interim relief from any court with jurisdiction, nor does it affect the enforcement of judgments in other jurisdictions.

 

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the ‘Last Updated’ date at the top of this document and, where feasible, by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of our Services after the posting of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed.

Where changes are material and substantially alter your rights or obligations, we will endeavor to provide at least fourteen (14) days advance notice before such changes become effective.
